About
Konar (also spelled Kenar) is a popular, small, and edible fruit that is typically sweet and sometimes slightly sour. Konar grows on the Ziziphus spina-christi tree, commonly known as the Christ's thorn plant. It is widely found in the southern regions of Iran, including provinces like Khuzestan, Bushehr, Fars, Kerman, and Hormozgan.
